Each photograph I select to be posted is one of two things: a labor of love, or a labor of anguish. Most of the time, the fine line between the two is indistinguishable until I’ve had time to walk away and look again, maybe the next day, maybe three days later. I imagine, as this project goes on, that I’ll feel more intensely about each one of these photos.

I’m learning how to be a better photographer; I’m also learning that I have limits and insights and habits. I’m fearing that I’ll go mad doing this, and at the same time I am well aware this is what being a photographer is about.

In any case, I’m not giving up. I’m loving this far too much.
